I worked in ANZ Banking for 17 years then in 1999 I establish the first Mike Pero Mortgages Franchise in Hawkes Bay assisting many Clients with over 2000 finance transactions with a dollar value in excess of 300 million.
Since leaving the franchise and serving out a restraint of trade I have returned to an industry I know but this time trading under my own brand dm consult mortgages + insurance. The focus is still the same which is to assist and arrange finance for First, second, third home buyers, Rental property Investors, Holiday homes, Building projects, renovation loans, Top-up’s, re-fixing loans, Commercial property , Business loans and development project funding.
To provide the services I offer I am now a Registered Financial Advisor.
In the past I attribute my success to a commitment to “do the right thing by the client”, this philosophy has not changed.
As an advisor I work for the client and act on their behalf to seek an approval for finance. This takes the stress away from the client who does not have to deal directly with the lender. The Client receives from me an unbiased view of what the different options lenders are offering. Which means the customer is well informed to make their decision. The exciting aspect about my service is the client doesn’t pay me however the lender does.
Kareen my wife and two adult daughter’s Melissa and Alicia have played an integral part in supporting me as I re-grow the business, their support has and is unwavering.
I enjoy spending time with my wife and Daughters when they are around, Surfing, running, Crossfit and relaxing in the privileged lifestyle we have in the Hawkes Bay.
